MexiKid Dreams Book Launch
Join us at the Rabbit hOle as Newbery Honor and Pura Belpré Award winning author and illustrator Pedro Martín launches his new book, Mexikid Dreams! A poignant and hilarious companion to the acclaimed graphic memoir, Mexikid.
The evening will feature a conversation with critically acclaimed picture book author and illustrator, Daniel Miyares, Q&A and book signing. Each purchase for this 18+ event includes a copy of Mexikid Dreams. Yoli will provide fun bites, inspired by Mexikid Dreams, during the VIP reception starting at 5:30.

Oaxaca Tour with Yoli Tortilleria
Join Yoli co-founder, Marissa Gencarelli on a trip through Oaxaca with Modern Adventure. Marissa’s fond memories of Oaxaca come from family trips through Mexico as a child, “I can close my eyes and remember the very first time I went there as a child, the smell of the comales with the earthy scents of corn masa being cooked, the beautiful pottery, and the magic of its beautiful people.”

Won’t You Be My Neighbor
Rebeca Amezcua-Hogan, our neighbor at Yoli Westside, is running an inspiring grassroots campaign to be our next City Councilperson (4th In-District) to create a Kansas City where everyday people, can afford to live, thrive, and grow old in dignity.
Join us on September 16th from 6 to 9 PM at Fern Bar for a casual meet-n-greet-style community event and fundraiser. Come, talk about your priorities and frustrations, and hear about Rebeca's vision for a people-first city. Yoli provide snacks for this event.
