Join us for an interactive hands-on class. You will be making tamales from beginning to end, mixing the masa, learning how to wrap and steam them. It will include both meat and vegetarian tamales options, red rice and refried beans. Welcome cocktail, glass of wine or beer, agua fresca.
Techniques learned:
Masa - how to handle masa, seasoning, whipping tricks and hydration
Rice - Toasting rice, create an aromatic base, steam trapping
Beans - flavor immersion, mashing, consistency control

We provide aprons and gloves for class.
Please wear comfortable shoes and bring a hair tie (if you have long hair).
If there is an allergy, please let us know! We are happy to accommodate as much as possible.
Menu is subject to slight modification based on ingredient availability.
Under 18, must be accompanied by an adult.
Cancellation policy:
Half refund for cancellations 72 hours prior to the class. No refunds will be provided if you cancel within 72 hours of class time.
If class is cancelled by Yoli, refunds or credits for future classes will be provided.
